About this hunt

Basic information

The hunt will take place in Southern France (1h from Toulouse). The duration of the trip will be 2 hunting days – 3 nights’ accommodation with an optionnal 3rd hunting day.

Game species: Ducks (mallards), Wild boar, Mouflon and Red Deer will be on the species list.

Program

Over 2 hunting days, you will live a unique experience, based in our 4* hunting lodge in Southern France. We will take care of everything from the moment you step out of the plane. Everything will be included from transport, licence, accommodation, all meals, all drinks, hunting, shotgun rental, and access to our shooting range.

– DAY 1: Group arrival. Access to the range: clay shooting and running boar target practice

– DAY 2: French Monteria (driven hunt with dogs) on the estate

– DAY 3: Driven high duck shooting (mallards) in a world-famous estate (1.5h away)

– Optional DAY 4: French Monteria (driven hunt with dogs) or Driven duck shooting (mallards)

– DAY 4 or 5: departure after breakfast

Driven duck shooting explained: Guns will stand at a peg. 3 to 5 drives will be organized to achieve the bag. Between each drive, ducks will be picked up by retrieving dogs and a drink/snack will be served in the meantime. After the hunt (3 to 4 hours generally) a lunch will be served in the shoot lodge and the “tableau” (game display) will be arranged. This is high duck shooting at its best providing excellent sport from start to finish.

Bag: 50 ducks / hunter. The quota can be for the group. Example: 6 guns X 50 ducks = 300 ducks. Overages apply above this figure (extra duck 20 euros)

French Monteria (driven hunt) explained: After the morning briefing, the guns will be transported to their stand (high seat). Several pack of dogs will be released to move to animals towards the guns. One or two drives will be completed depending on the results and the weather. Hunting will last approximately 4 to 5 hours.

Bag limit: 1 wild boar allowed / gun + unlimited shooting on female/young animals of the following species: mouflon and red deer. Trophies (red deer stag, mouflon ram, wild boar tusker) are available with extra charge, please see price list. Expectations are 3 to 5 animals / person for a group of experienced hunters. However, there is no guarantee at all as it is only wild animals. We are not responsible of the weather or the hunters’ skills. There will be no “tableau” (game display) for ethical and publicity reasons. Some meat can be taken home by the hunters.

We have an 8 en-suite twin bedroom hunting lodge with indoor pool as well as other cottages. We have a shooting range including fix targets, running boar target and clay shooting.

Hunting season: This hunt can be arranged between October to the end of January.

Number of hunters: a team of 4 to 12 guns is required for this hunt.

Where you will stay

The hunting lodge offers 8 ensuite bedroom (bedrooms with bathrooms and toilets). That we can use with single or couple occupancy. It also has an inside pool. Another traditional stone building provides a bar and a restaurant room. Two more cottages are also available (3 bedroom and 4 bedroom).

The estate offers the opportunity to practice your shooting skills with one 50 meters running boar target shooting range (with a camera to control the shots). Some fix targets. And also a sporting clay shooting groung.

How to get there

The nearest airport is Toulouse Blagnac Airport. The Distance from the airport is 100 km. Transfer from airport can be arranged by a taxi company.

Trophy Wild boar (Male with tusk) @ 2 000 euros + VAT (20%)

Cull wild boar (young males) @ 500 euros + VAT

Mouflon ram – trophy @ 2 000 euros + VAT (fixed price)

10 pointers stags Red deer male: 2 000 euros + VAT

12 pointers stags Red deer male : 2 500 euros + VAT

14 pointers stags Red deer male : 3 000 euros + VAT

Wounding

If the animal is wounded with evidence of a deadly wound, the full amount is due and non-refundable.
